Using Raiser’s Edge?
Great for some. But not so great for others who feel the system can’t keep up with the changing demands of their fundraising, communications and campaigning -or the rising costs of their database.
If you feel you are stuck with an outdated CRM because it’s just too difficult to move to a new system that is ingrained in your organisation, you’re not alone.
There’s more to fundraising CRM than Raiser’s Edge. Honest.
In the thirteen years we’ve been offering Raiser’s Edge consulting, we’ve heard the same challenges, questions and issues from fundraisers.
If you’re feeling stuck and unsure how to address your challenges with Raiser’s Edge, facing question of whether to upgrade or renew your existing RE system – or even wondering where on earth to start if you want to look at other options on the market – we’re offering you some insight that might help with your decisions about what to do next.
Join us for a breakfast briefing where we will share what we have learned over the years.
Our breakfast briefings are informal opportunities to share and learn over a cuppa and a croissant. Our agenda for these sessions will cover:
- the frustrations that fundraisers and communicators share about their RE systems
- the common tipping points that organisations reach and that drive the need to consider change
- options for replacing a system like Raiser’s Edge
We are very open about the fact we think Salesforce is a very viable alternative for charities and non profits. To help you understand why, and to help you understand the options available in the market today, we’ll also look at
- why a platform solution (like Salesforce) gives you the tools and flexibility your organisation needs for the future
- identify the options for fundraising with Salesforce – Non Profit Success Pack and Causeview (which is the nearest thing to a ‘straight swap’ we can find for fundraisers used to using Raiser’s Edge).
Keith Collins has worked with non profit technology for more years than it is polite to mention. His background includes stints charity side as well as for Blackbaud (who created Raiser’s Edge). He’s been with Purple Vision since it was established in 2003, and has been tracking the non profit tech market ever since. Keith is joined by Ian Fairhurst, Purple Vision’s Senior NFP Consultant. Before joining us in 2015, Ian’s background was firmly charity-side – including struggles with legacy CRM systems.
Who this session is for
This session will be of most value to Raiser’s Edge users who are either:
- actively considering a move to a new CRM
- concerned about automatically upgrading to RE NXT or about mounting costs associated with RE
- open to ideas about what may be best for their organisation in the future
We welcome other charity and non profits who are on other legacy systems and considering similar issues.
